The logic of combat
Eskirmology is a compound from 2 Latin words:
'Eskirmire' means ‘to skirmish’ and is found in modern terms for Fencing (French
L’escrime, Spanish Esgrima, as well as Italian Scrimia).
'Logia' is ‘logic’ (in the scientific sense), and -ology is used for many modern sciences.
‘Eskirmology’ is ‘the logic of fighting’, sometimes Anglicised as ‘fight-logic’,
or ‘combat-logic’ (based upon context).
